Everything you need to know about Imagcon, the AI-powered icon generator for PWA, iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, and Capacitor. For machine-readable capability contracts see blueprint.txt; for marketing context see llms.txt.
Platforms and generation
What platforms does Imagcon support?
Progressive Web Apps (all required sizes including 192×192 and 512×512), iOS App Store icons up to 1024×1024, Android mipmap exports plus maskable-safe PWA PNGs, React Native, Flutter, and native iOS/Android projects. Files arrive named and sized for drop-in use.
Do I need design skills?
No. Describe your icon in any language — for example "a blue rocket on a gradient background." Google's Gemini image model on Vertex AI produces professional app-icon artwork without Figma or Photoshop.
Do I pick the icon style before or after my prompt?
After the prompt. Type your description, click Generate Image, then choose Flat, Metallic, 2D Game, Clay, 3D, Gradient, or Glassmorphism in the modal and confirm.
Free tier, credits, and pricing
Is Imagcon free?
Free Lighthouse-ready PWA icons: unlimited Lighthouse packs, 1 custom AI generation, and unlimited workspace sample prompts — no credit card. Paid packs: Starter $5 (10 credits), Builder $9 (25), Pro $19 (75), Studio $39 (200), one-time.
How are credits used?
Each credit covers 3 AI generations or edits, or one full icon set export, splash set, or saved splash ZIP re-download. Details on the pricing page.
How does it compare to other icon generators?
Imagcon generates Web, Android adaptive, and iOS App Store assets in one flow. See the detailed comparison.
Installation and agents
How do I install the icons in my app?
Download the ZIP for your platform and follow the PWA icon and splash guide. PWA packages include manifest.json snippets.
Can I use Imagcon from an AI agent?
Yes. Create an API key at imagcon.app/api-keys and connect the imagcon-mcp package per AI guide and blueprint CLIENT-CONFIGS.
What AI model powers Imagcon?
Google's Gemini image model on Vertex AI for generation; Gemini on Vertex AI for editor refinements. See Vertex AI image generation.
