At Imagcon, we strive to provide the best AI-powered icon generation experience. This Refund Policy explains our refund terms and what you can expect when purchasing our services.

1. Try Before You Buy

We provide free AI generation credits to all new users so you can:

• Test the AI image generation quality
• Explore different prompts and styles
• Understand how the service works
• Make an informed decision before purchasing

Uploading an image, cropping, text overlay, and drawing are free. Each PWA icon set generation and each splash screen set generation uses one generation credit, as do AI image generation and AI refinement edits.

2. No Refunds on AI Generation Credits

AI generation credits are non-refundable once purchased or used. Here's why:

• Immediate Cost: Each AI generation incurs real costs to third-party AI services (Google Cloud Vertex AI)
• Instant Delivery: Generated images are delivered immediately and cannot be "returned"
• Subjective Results: AI-generated art is inherently creative and subjective - results vary based on prompts
• Free Trial Available: You have free credits to test the service before committing

By purchasing AI generation credits, you acknowledge that results may vary and that credits are non-refundable once used.

3. When Refunds Are Available

We will provide refunds in the following cases:

Technical Issues

• Service outage preventing you from using purchased credits
• Critical bugs that make the service unusable
• Payment processed but credits not delivered

Billing Errors

• Duplicate charges for the same purchase
• Incorrect amount charged
• Unauthorized transactions (report immediately)

Unused Credits

• Accidental purchase (request within 24 hours, credits must be completely unused)
• Account termination by Imagcon due to our error

4. When Refunds Are NOT Available

Refunds will not be provided for:

• ❌ "I don't like the AI-generated images"
• ❌ "The results aren't what I expected"
• ❌ Credits already used for generations
• ❌ Change of mind after using the service
• ❌ Lack of understanding of how AI generation works
• ❌ Account suspension due to Terms of Service violations
• ❌ Expired or partially used credit packages

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund based on the criteria above:

1. Contact us through the support email provided on our website
2. Include your account email and transaction ID
3. Explain the reason for your refund request with details
4. Provide screenshots or evidence if applicable

We will review your request within 5 business days and respond with our decision.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

• Method: Refunded to the original payment method
• Timeframe: 5-10 business days after approval
• Processing: Handled through Stripe payment processor
• Notification: You'll receive an email confirmation when processed

Note: Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. No Subscriptions

Imagcon does not offer subscription plans. All purchases are strictly one-time payments. Credits never expire and there are no recurring charges.

8. Fair Use and Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of this policy. Examples include generating dozens or hundreds of images and then requesting a refund claiming dissatisfaction.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through email or a notice on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes.
